A re-enactment of Felix Pedro's walk into town after his discovery of gold on July 22nd, 1902. See history re-made as Felix leads his burro through Gold Rush Town, stopping at the Ole Time Denali State Bank where his "gold poke" will be weighed in.

This is for the 3-10 year olds. Have them put on their pj's and slippers and come and let the wonderful librarians in the Berry Room read them a bedtime story. You still have to read one at home, if they're awake from the car ride home.


No registration is required, just show up!

What a great chance to take the older kids out to live outdoor theater. The Theatre group always puts on an entertaining dramatic event set in the lovely Fairbanks landscape. Somehow a play is just so much more exciting when out in the wild!!
Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s "Antony and Cleopatra," a powerful epic of love and war. Directed by Graham Watts, this outdoor stage production is an annual event of FST and is presented in conjunction with UAF Summer Sessions.
